It's been only a week since Kael broke his nose. And now we can proudly say that by the age of five Kael had both arms broken. Yup, right arm is in cast now...

Since doctor could not see Kael's ear last time due to swelling, she asked to visit her again two-three days later. So Hyejung took Kael to the doctor today. But the ear was not the only reason any more. Some time late morning Kael managed to break glass-made chess set and step on it. Result - plenty of blood and painful wound.
And yes, doctor confirmed, the eardrum is ripped.

Two days ago, just a week after we've finished with his arm's physio, Kael figured out that is was funny to put ear cleaning sticks into his ears and nose. It did look funny, but I also told him not to do it as he may get hurt. ... and in pure Kael's tradition he completely ignored the advice and 10 minutes later was crying. apparently he hit one of the sticks and and damaged his right ear. After quick check everything looked ok, no blood or swelling or anything suspicious. He settled quickly, but went to bed by himself an hour later, which happened only a few times before and only after he either was very tired or hurt.
The next day he was fine. However today we saw blood clots in his ear and went straight to doctors. He's on antibiotics now. Because everything is swollen, doctor could not see the eardrum, so we'll be back to doctors in two-three days to see if there's anything serious.

The same day when we we plaster cast on Kael's arm, he actually managed to break the cast too. We've ended up paying $100 to put a fibreglass cast instead. Kael did try to break that one too, but did not succeed. The cast lasted for four weeks and even survived a few swims, even though the doctor said not to get it wet.

Yes, first broken bone for Kael. Was on monkey bars while waiting for Tanisha to finish her classes in school. Fell off those, hit the elbow. The next day I took him to the doctors and X-ray - fracture of the bone near elbow. Helped doctors to put plaster cast on, handed to my wife and went to work.
